Accommodation

Three hotels belonging to the same group have been selected for accommodation. Each has a unique atmosphere, but all offer a similar level of comfort and are situated close to the Majestic congress hall.

ALPINA ECLECTIC HOTEL****

The Alpina has recently been entirely renovated. It has a relaxed but chic feel to it, and a simple design. Natural, modern building materials have been used throughout.

The 7th floor restaurant offers an exceptional panoramic view over the Mont Blanc mountains. There are 128 bedrooms and 10 suites with views either towards Mont Blanc or the Brévent.

The MEDICAL commission will meet in the Alpina hotel and members of this commission should stay here.

The Alpina is a 5-minute walk from the Maison de la Montagne where the AIR commission will meet. It is a 7-minute walk from the Majestic congress centre where the TERRESTRIAL and AVALANCHE commissions will meet, where the Full Congress will meet and where trade partners will exhibit equipment.

CHALET HOTEL PRIEURE ***

Large Savoyard chalet with 97 bright rooms which have been tastefully decorated with brushed wood and warm colours. All have a view over Mont Blanc. The lobby has an open fire and the restaurant serves traditional cuisine.

The Prieuré is a 5-minute walk from the Maison de la Montagne where the AIR commission will meet. It is a 7-minute walk from the Majestic congress centre where the TERRESTRIAL and AVALANCHE commissions will meet, where the Full Congress will meet and where trade partners will exhibit equipment.

MERCURE CENTRE****

The hotel has 125 recently-renovated bedrooms divided between two buildings with two very different atmospheres; traditional and contemporary. The rooms are extremely comfortable, with views over Mont Blanc or the Brévent.

A cosy lounge bar and traditional restaurant combine conviviality with elegance.

The Mercure is an 8-minute walk from the Maison de la Montagne where the AIR commission will meet. It is also an 8-minute walk from the Majestic congress centre where the TERRESTRIAL and AVALANCHE commissions will meet, where the Full Congress will meet and where trade partners will exhibit equipment.
